Company Bios

David began his DRTV career back in 1988. He has always worked on the ‘media placement’ side of the industry. David is proud of his longevity in DRTV and the profitable ways in which Diamond Media has helped clients and stations succeed over the years. Originally from the Chicago area, David moved to Arizona and graduated from Arizona State University (1983).

Jerry has been with the company since October 1992. He along with his son David (the founder), helped to start and develop the company. Today as in the beginning he continues to promote good will in servicing his accounts with his enthusiasm and sense of humor. He really looks forward to his weekly sales calls.

Sarah grew up in Maine before attending Arizona State University, where she received her B.S. in Marketing. She joined the Diamond Media team in 2001, where she worked in traffic. During her time at Diamond she has overseen national/local stations and helped them maximize their revenue. She is responsible for client services and new media development.

Joell had never worked in the Media industry before coming to Diamond Media in 2002. Since she has been with the company, she has been responsible for the day-to-day operations of the office, including Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, Human Resources, budgeting, and maintaining records. Joell grew up in Mesa, Arizona. After living in California for 16 years, she returned home to raise her 2 children and be closer to her family.

Lisa Townsend has been with Diamond Media since March of 2003. She is a native of Pennsylvania and came to the "Valley of the Sun" in 1989 to attend Arizona State University, where she majored in Psychology. Being an avid sports fan, she has worked with the Phoenix Suns & Phoenix Mercury organizations. She worked with the United States Tennis Association Southwest Section for 5 years before finding her place with Diamond Media where she is Traffic/ Telemarketing Coordinator. She is married to Peter Christian and they have a son Ian Christian.

Heather is very excited to be part of the Diamond Media Team! After graduating with a dual degree in Advertising and Public Relations, Heather began her career at a New York Agency specializing in Direct Response TV. As her knowledge and experience grew, so did her passion for the industry. Heather has always loved working and learning, and looks forward to an amazing future at Diamond Media!

Riley Watson has been with Diamond Media as a Media Buyer since August 2008. Riley was born and raised in a very small town in northwestern Colorado known as Meeker.
There he was raised as the oldest of six brothers and sisters. Upon graduation from high school, Riley attended the University of Evansville in southern Indiana, where he received a Bachelor’s of Science in Mass Communications with an emphasis in Public
Relations and Advertising, and a minor in Sociology. Upon graduation from college in 1998, Riley relocated to San Francisco,CA where he received his first formal training in the professional realm. In July of 2007 Riley made a bold move to the Phoenix, AZ area where he took a position as the Director ofSales for a small; start up, web design firm. He finds his job challenging, yet rewarding, and actually looks forward to coming into work each and every day.
